Every first time home buyer needs a starting point and a plan for success. My job is to guide you down the path to home ownership.
1. Get your Money Situation in Order.
Start by checking your credit, this will help you to have the basic information of knowing where you stand. My job is to give you some insights if needed to improve your credit over time to get you where you need to be.
2. Assess your Spending.
If owning a home is the goal, it would be a good idea to take a realistic look at your current spending patterns. Create a monthly list that accurately reflects your current spending. This will help you to save more money to reach your goal of homeownership.
3. Determine What You Can Afford.
Once you have gotten your money situation in order and have a clear picture of your spending, you can now figure out with some help from me, how much you want to spend monthly with all expenses considered. You can also get a handle on your buying power and the down payment you will need.
4. Rely on a trusted advisor.
Once you are ready to buy, I can help you through the steps from getting a preapproval on a mortgage to finding the right home and making an offer that will be accepted to your satisfaction. Together we will work through the inspections and paperwork, then the closing where you will receive the keys to your first home.
5. I am Here for You.
As a Realtor, I am in it with you for the long hall, whether it is a few months or several years. My job is to help you succeed in the goal of realizing the American Dream. If you stick with me, I will stick with you. I want to turn clients into friends and always be there for your real estate needs.
